From time to time, in response to the Spirit the Daughters of the Heart of Mary (DHM) discern a call to engage in a corporate ministry. Such is the case for DeCicé Hall, dedicated on April 26, 2013 as a corporate work of the DHM U.S. Province.  Other DHM corporate works are: Adelaide’s Place in Atlantic City NJ, The Marian Center in Holyoke MA, Nardin Academy in Buffalo NY, and St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf in the Bronx, NY as a corporate work of the US Province.

During the time since its opening, the facility continues to host numerous and diverse groups.  Some of these include: the Junior League of Greater Springfield general and board meetings; JustFaith Ministries Programs; ION Interfaith Network; Diocesan Advent and Lenten Seminars; Sisters of St. Joseph Peace & Justice Committee meetings and events; Diocesan Diaconate programs, and events for the Daughters of the Heart of Mary.

Hosting of workshops, retreat experiences, wellness events, seminars, lectures, small group meetings, film screenings and discussions have taken place here and will continue. In addition, DHM offer numerous contributions including prayer, input and connections to further ministry.  An occasional glance at our Events Calendar keeps everyone abreast of on-going and upcoming events.

Surely the Holy Spirit is overseeing this corporate ministry, and we have good reason to expect the ministry to continue to contribute to the Kingdom of God in the years to come.
